Mesotherapy

What is Mesotherapy?

Mesotherapy is a non-surgical cosmetic technique to rejuvenate and tighten the skin by injecting various vitamins, minerals, enzymes and hyaluronic acid. It targets problem areas such as cellulite, excess weight and body shape.

Although it has only recently been used in the USA, it appeared in Europe in the early 1950s. It was previously used to prevent pain.

Its main purpose is to inject needles into the mesoderm, the middle layer of the skin, to heal conditions that cause skin irritation such as slowed circulation and inflammation.

Three different methods are used, which vary according to the injection technique. These are cuticle mesotherapy, comprehensive mesotherapy, and point-by-point mesotherapy. There is also a hair mesotherapy method using an ultrasonic device for patients with needle sensitivity. This device delivers the medicine into the skin without needles.

Can I lose weight with mesotherapy?

It would not be correct to compare this procedure with the sudden weight loss that occurs as a result of liposuction. Mesotherapy is a less painful and low-price method. "How much does a Mesotherapy cost?" is also one of the most wondered questions. The cost varies according to the type of procedure to be performed, the materials used, the doctor who will perform the application, and the sessions to be taken. Treatment applications are more affordable than cosmetic applications.

Procedure of Mesotherapy

The skin may be numbed during Mesotherapy sessions. Injections are made through special needles, sometimes using a gun. Injection needles can be applied at different depths and they vary between 1 or 4 mm depending on the conditions of the treatment.

How many mesotherapy sessions are needed?

Needles are usually inserted at an angle and applied quickly. Each needle contains a trace amount of the dose. Therefore, multiple sessions may be required to achieve the desired result. (from 3-4 sessions to 15 sessions) In the beginning, injections will be made every day for 1 week-10 days. Then, if skin improves, this frequency will be updated every 2 weeks or once a month.

Who can be a candidate for Mesotherapy?

Anyone from the age of 18 up to the age of 75 is suitable for Mesotherapy. It can be applied to anyone who is in good health and has not been able to get rid of some permanent region fat despite diet or exercise.
