Brow transplantation is performed by transplanting hair follicles taken from the donor area of a person to the eyebrow area.

How is Brow Transplantation Applied?

The method used for eyebrow transplantation is either DHI or FUE techniques, the same as the hair transplant. The operation is performed under local anesthesia.

The location of the donor area is determined by the doctor. The ideal area for eyebrow transplantation is often the nape because the hair follicles on the nape are durable.

An average of 500 grafts may be enough to achieve a healthy eyebrow appearance. The number of grafts may vary from person to person, depending on the structure and thickness of the existing eyebrow. Factors That Cause Brow Loss

There are certain factors that cause eyebrow loss.

Brow Transplantation: Recovery

The recovery period in the treatment of eyebrow transplantation is relatively fast. Within a few days after the treatment, crusting is noticed around the brows. These should not be removed.

Heavy exercises should be avoided for 3 weeks after the operation. After a few weeks, the transplanted hair falls out, this is called the "shock loss" process and is completely normal. New eyebrow hairs begin to grow within a few months following this step. The transplanted hairs may need to be shortened according to the desired eyebrow length.
